Mr and Mrs Sangster came to Laings with the goal of freshening up their tired looking bathroom. The overall design felt dated and didn’t reflect the couple’s style any more, which left them feeling that it was in need of modernisation to make it a space they truly loved.
In their search for inspiration, they visited the Laings Directline showroom and fell in love with one of our bathroom displays - so much so, the Sangsters decided they wanted to replicate the exact design in their own space.
This project was completed on a supply-only basis, where we typically design and supply the products to our clients, before working alongside their chosen installer to ensure they are happy with the end result.
Due to the straightforward nature of the project, the challenges in this project were minimal.
The design in the showroom display was easy to replicate, and the layout of their existing bathroom didn’t require much modification. With a few adjustments to the measurements, we were able to design a similar space to that of the showroom display with ease.
At Laings Directline, we like to keep our fingers on the pulse of home interiors, so when designing any of our showroom displays, incorporating upcoming trends while ensuring each display will appeal to a variety of customers is crucial.
This particular display, which was replicated for the Sangsters’ main bathroom, is a popular one among the Laings Directline team. Green and black is a very on trend colour combination right now. The industrial feel of the black is softened using wood and warm toned tiles for a seamless contrast - and the Adamsez Sorrento freestanding bath in the display is one of our most popular baths in the showroom at the moment!
The textured basin also adds a subtle detail which finishes off the space beautifully. Overall, the design oozes luxury and modern elegance with a lovely contrast between different colours and finishes.
Working from the clients’ measurements and making any necessary adjustments, we were able to design and supply an exact replica of our bathroom display, just as the Sangsters had requested.
The chic design and straightforward layout works perfectly in their home, and has provided the couple with the modern, up-to-date bathroom they had been searching for.
